Allan Collins is a British Artist who communicates his ideas through the mediums of Haute Couture Furniture, Sculpture and Drawing.

Allan's work aims for the divine, thinking God's thoughts after him.

Like a mathematician or scientist Allan asks fundamental questions about what he does not understand and seeks out the underlying laws of the universe. He leaves only what is fundamental to the logic of the proposition, creating works that are pure and timeless.

He wants his work to be silent and contemplative and to be removed from the concerns of everyday existence. The works should elicit the same emotions in 1000 years time as they do now.

The works are crafted by the finest artisans using the latest technology and specialist techniques passed down through generations, materials are chosen for their beauty, tactility and ability to age with grace.

Together with his collaborator Tom Brooksbank, Allan formed Brooksbank & Collins in 2012 designing Furniture and Objets d’Art. Allan continues to work as a solo artist and designer.

Allan's work has been exhibited internationally and is held in prestigious private collections. His work has been widely published including in Lexicon a monograph published by Trademark Publishing and his Haute Couture Furniture has been regularly featured in FT: HOW TO SPEND IT, WALLPAPER* & THE TELEGRAPH : LUXURY magazines.

Allan is represented by Gallery FUMI in London.

“We will leave this world not only less, but greater, better and more beautiful than it was transmitted to us”.
